Ian Parkinson

Ian Parkinson is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Project Development Director - Nuclear at Morgan Sindall Infrastructure since January 2023, following a distinguished tenure at Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure as Chief Engineer for both Nuclear and Aviation sectors. With over two decades of experience in project management and engineering, Ian has led complex initiatives including the N6 Rapid Exit Taxiway and the Eastern Apron Development at Heathrow Airport, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to the highest engineering standards. Ian's earlier roles included significant contributions at AMEC and Jacobs, where responsibilities encompassed site engineering, quality assurance, and design for major airport projects. Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University.
