Omar Marquez

Omar Marquez is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and system integration across various financial and software industries. Currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Morgan Stanley since September 2021, Omar previously held the position of Systems Integrator at IMC Financial Markets in Chicago since October 2011. Omar's career has also included roles as a Software Engineer at IntercontinentalExchange, a Trading System Engineer at Sun Trading LLC, and as a Lead Configuration Engineer at CME Group. Omar has a strong academic background with a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidad Central de las Villas, complemented by a Red Hat Certification in Linux.
