Punit Mahajan

Punit Mahajan is an experienced professional in analytics and financial compliance, currently serving as the Head of Analytics Strategy at Morgan Stanley since July 2018. Previously, Punit held the position of Senior Compliance Officer and Vice President in the Surveillance Analytics Group at Goldman Sachs from May 2010 to July 2018, managing a global team focused on financial crime compliance and conduct risk. Prior to that, Punit was the AVP and Practice Lead for Analytics at Infosys BPO Ltd. from May 2005 to June 2010, where responsibilities included business growth and model validation for various financial institutions. Punit's career began in risk analytics, with roles at Dresdner Kleinwort and Salomon Smith Barney, and includes foundational experience as a Programmer Analyst and ASA at Tata Consultancy Services. Punit holds an MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
