Sean Wright

Sean Wright is an executive leader in ESG and sustainable finance, currently serving as the Global Head of Climate at Morgan Stanley. With over 15 years of experience in climate policy and financial services, Sean has developed strategic programs that promote positive economic and environmental outcomes. They previously held the position of Executive Director and Climate Integration Lead at Morgan Stanley and were a Senior Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund, where they led initiatives to engage investors in climate policymaking. Sean is also a Steering Committee Member at the Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials, guiding carbon accounting methodology development. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Rutgers University Business School.
