Tom Harvell

Tom Harvell is a seasoned technical architect and data engineer with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Vice President and Technical Architect at Morgan Stanley since October 2021, Tom previously held the same role at Eaton Vance for a brief period before the acquisition. With a strong background in data engineering, Tom has worked at various companies, including WEX, where responsibilities included coordinating technical groups to facilitate data access for analytics, and developing cloud-based data solutions. Tom possesses expertise in Python, data pipelines, and distributed computing platforms, having also developed analytical applications to monitor fraudulent activity during a tenure as a Data Scientist. Academic credentials include Bachelor's degrees in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics and Physics from the University of Southern Maine.
