Avanelle Thomas

Avanelle Thomas, MPH, RDN, LD, is a Registered Dietitian with extensive experience in clinical and public health nutrition. Currently holding positions at Crandall Corporate Dietitians and the University of the District of Columbia as an adjunct professor, Avanelle has successfully operated A.C. Thomas Nutrition Consulting Services, LLC, since April 2020. Previously, Avanelle worked as a Public Health Nutritionist for the Department of Aging and Community Living and supervised nutrition services at Seabury Resources for Aging. With a strong background in individualized medical nutrition therapy, Avanelle has served diverse populations, including long-term care residents and diabetic patients. Avanelle's education includes a Master's Degree in Nutrition from Loma Linda University and a Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from Oakwood University.
