Emily M. Hunter

Ms. Hunter is an experienced educator, leader, and community organizer. Driven by serving others, she takes pride in being a leader in the community. As a principal in Baltimore City Public Schools, she takes pride in ensuring students get a quality education. In addition to her primary job functions, Ms. Emily Hunter has been recognized as a 2018 Heart of the School award recipient as well as an expert in community schools for the district. Recently, she has become a business owner, opening a Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise with her mother. The knowledge she acquired at Morgan State University (Class of 1997-Bachelors in Elementary Education) prepared her for education, leadership and community organizing.
