Barbara Ard oversees MorganFranklin’s accounting advisory and transaction services. With more than 25 years of experience in technical accounting, financial reporting, M&A, IPO readiness, SPAC transactions, and corporate governance, she leads clients through complex transformations and ensures companies remain focused on strategic and impactful goals. Since joining the firm in 2013, Barbara’s strategic and tactical approach has led numerous MorganFranklin clients through successful IPOs and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining MorganFranklin, Barbara served as a senior managing director in the transaction advisory services practice at FTI Consulting and as a partner at Deloitte. She also served as CFO of ServiceBench, a venture-backed software company.
Barbara earned her B.S. in business administration and accounting from Duquesne University. She is also a licensed certified public accountant and sits on the board of directors for the March of Dimes Maryland National Capital Chapter.
