Alexander Mees

Alexander Mees has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Alexander has held positions at Morgans Financial Limited, J.P. Morgan, UBS, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., PwC Australia, PwC Vietnam, and PwC UK. Their most recent role was as the Head of Research at Morgans Financial Limited. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at J.P. Morgan, including Head of European Business Services and Midcaps Research, and Head of UK Small and Midcaps Research. Alexander also has experience as the Head of Australian Emerging Companies Research at J.P. Morgan and as a Senior Research Analyst at UBS. Alexander has provided financial and strategic analysis, conducted research on various sectors, and received recognition for their expertise in stock picking and earnings estimation. Earlier in their career, they worked as an analyst and assistant manager at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and PwC UK, respectively. Alexander's experience includes project management, risk management, assurance, and business advisory services.

Alexander Mees began their education at the University of Cambridge from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Geography. In 2019, they enrolled at The Open University and studied Mandarin Chinese, completing a course called L197 from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they further pursued Mandarin Chinese at the SOAS University of London, acquiring proficiency at HSK Level 1. Alexander then advanced their Mandarin Chinese skills at The University of Queensland in 2021, achieving HSK Level 2. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Certificate in Investor Relations from The Investor Relations Society in December 2020. Prior to that, in September 2019, they earned the Business and Finance Professional (BFP) qualification from ICAEW. Additionally, Alexander holds the Capital Markets Certificate from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI), obtained in 2011. Lastly, they became a Chartered Accountant (ACA) through ICAEW in September 1994.
