Co-head Of Investment Strategy at Morgans Financial Limited

Andrew Tang has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andrew started their career as a Technical Consultant at Sun Microsystems in 2000 and later joined Hewlett-Packard in the same role. In 2005, Andrew became a Solutions Architect at eCorp Group Pty Ltd and remained in this position until 2012. Andrew then transitioned to the financial sector, working as a Quantitative Analyst at Royal Bank of Scotland Business from 2012 to 2013. Andrew then joined CIMB as a Strategist, where they contributed to the investment process of a major domestic quantitative fund and published reports on various themes for the Australian equity market. In 2015, they became the Co-head of Investment Strategy at Morgans Financial Limited, where they provided investment analysis, produced research and commentary, and formed the strategic asset allocation framework for the adviser network. Most recently, Andrew joined RSPCA NSW in 2021, serving on the Investment Committee and providing oversight and advice on financial portfolio investments for the organization's financial sustainability.

Andrew Tang earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from UNSW, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they pursued further education at Macquarie Business School, where they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance, General from 2010 to 2012.
