Bryce Johnson is a dedicated researcher with a strong background in protein engineering and computational methods. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Morgridge Institute for Research since February 2022, Bryce focuses on characterizing the relationship between protein sequence and function using advanced statistical models. Previous experience includes work at the University of Minnesota, where Bryce implemented algorithms in Python and optimized them for high-performance computing, as well as conducting simulations related to solar flare eruptions. Additional experience encompasses medical physics research with software development for PET imaging and mechanical engineering internship involving CAD modeling and assembly line setup. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Minnesota.
