Morgridge Institute for Research
Emily Britt is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Morgridge Institute for Research since March 2023. Previously, Emily served as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from December 2017 to March 2023 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Biochemistry Department at the University of Iowa from August 2014 to December 2017. Emily holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in March 2023, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Iowa, completed in 2017.

The Morgridge Institute for Research is a nonprofit biomedical institute exploring uncharted scientific territory to discover tomorrow’s cures. Morgridge works to improve human health through innovative, interdisciplinary biomedical discoveries, spark scientific curiosity and serve society through translational outcomes, in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Research areas include regenerative biology and bioinformatics, virology, medical engineering, metabolism, core computational technology and bioethics.
