Kara Chapman

Kara Chapman is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Morning Consult since February 2021, Kara previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Moz from June 2020 to February 2021. Prior to that, Kara spent several years at HCSS in various roles including Software Development Supervisor and Senior Software Developer Team Lead, alongside earlier positions as a Software Engineer at Vickers Nolan Enterprises and SystemMetrics Corporation, and as a Computer Scientist at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, earned between 2000 and 2003.
