Chris Livesay

Chris Livesay, SPHR has a strong background in human resources, with a focus on leadership roles. Chris currently holds the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at MorningStar Senior Living, where they have been since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Human Resources for the same company from January 2020 to April 2023.

Before joining MorningStar Senior Living, Chris worked as the HR Director for Personal Assistance Services Of Colorado from September 2015 to January 2020. Chris also gained experience as an HR Manager at Manheim for a brief period from February 2015 to September 2015.

During their career, Chris has held the role of HR Director at both Life Choice Hospice (January 2013 - February 2015) and PreCare (January 2012 - January 2013). Chris also served as a Regional HR Manager at American Residential Communities from March 2007 to January 2012.

Chris has significant experience working with nonprofit organizations, having held various leadership positions from August 2003 to February 2007. Chris began their HR career as an HR Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana from January 2001 to January 2003.

Chris Livesay, SPHR has a degree in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Human Resources from Purdue University. Additionally, they hold a Master's in Leadership from Denver Seminary. Chris has also obtained the SPHR certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
