Brian T. Grant

Brian T. Grant has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Brian T. started their career in 1999 as a Support Technician at ComputerWorks of Chicago and then worked as a Senior Consultant at onShore Networks, LLC from 2000 to 2005. During this time, they also served as a Senior Consultant at onShore Neworks, LLC. From 2004 to 2005, Brian worked as a Building Technology Consultant at onShore Networks, LLC.

In 2005, Brian joined RPh on the Go USA, Inc as a Lead Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, and maintained Java-based applications. Brian T. also championed Agile/Extreme methodologies and utilized best practices and design patterns to ensure well-designed and maintainable software. Brian T. remained with the company until 2010.

Following their time at RPh on the Go USA, Inc, Brian worked as an IT Application Developer at Sears Holdings Corporation from 2010 to 2011, and then as a Senior Java Engineer at Discovery Holdings from 2011 to 2012.

Since 2012, Brian has been associated with Morningstar. Brian T. started as a Senior Software Engineer and then advanced to the role of Technology Lead. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Technology Manager, and since 2017, they have been working as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at the company.

Brian T. Grant attended North Park University from 1996 to 1998 and the College of DuPage from 1994 to 1996. Brian T. did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study for either institution. In addition to their formal education, Brian T. Grant obtained certifications in AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019 and Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera in 2013.
