Dave Meats

Dave Meats, CFA, currently serves as Director of Strategic Planning & Analysis at Morningstar since February 2014, with previous roles including Director of Research for Energy and Utilities, Senior Equity Analyst, and Equity Analyst. Prior experience includes Associate Equity Analyst at Raymond James from June 2012 to February 2014 and an Equity Research Associate Intern at Morgan Stanley in the summer of 2011. Before transitioning to finance, Dave held positions as a Geophysicist at Eni SpA and Burren Energy from 2006 to 2010. Academic credentials include an MBA in Business Administration from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MSc in Petroleum Geology from the University of London, and an MSci in Physics from the University of Nottingham.
