Michael O'Leary

Michael O'Leary is a distinguished quantitative analyst with significant experience in quantitative research and analysis across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving at Morningstar since July 2021, O'Leary previously held the role of senior quantitative analyst at Ørsted and has a robust background with Morningstar in multiple capacities, including associate director of quantitative research. Prior experience includes contributions to seismic analysis and design at Sargent & Lundy, and innovative research initiatives while a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. O'Leary also provided consulting services for the Franke Family Foundation and served in external relations at the University of Chicago. Educational achievements include a PhD in Civil and Materials Engineering and a BS in the same field from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by a BA in Classical Greek and Latin from Kenyon College and studies at Harvard University.
