Tori Akman

Tori Akman is a Senior UX Designer at Morningstar, where Tori leads internal UX design initiatives focused on redesigning information architecture. Previously, Tori served as the Director of User Experience at nclud, overseeing UX strategy and discovery for diverse client projects and facilitating workshops on content strategy and user research methodologies. Tori has also held roles as a Senior Experience Designer, UX Designer at The Brand Stand, and a Client Acquisition Consultant at Localized. Early career experience includes leadership positions in property management and sales, including roles at Mystery District, LLC as Founder & CEO, and at companies such as CEB, Frontier Strategy Group, and Micro Focus, where Tori excelled in business development and account management. Tori holds a BS in International Business from The College of New Jersey and has furthered education through General Assembly.
