Heather Somerville Gonzalez

Heather Somerville Gonzalez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Most recently, they are the Global Channel Sales Director for MSP's, Alliances, and Distribution at Morpheus Data, where they have been since 2021.

Prior to their current role, Heather held various positions at Technologent. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the VP of Marketing and Strategic Alliances, responsible for branding, corporate marketing, public relations, and communications. Heather also led the Strategic Alliances team, managing vendor, partner, and distribution relationships. In 2020, they were promoted to the role of VP of Global Communications and Strategic Alliances, further expanding their responsibilities.

Before Technologent, Heather worked at Avnet Technology Solutions as a Senior Business Development Executive from 2013 to 2017.

From 1997 to 2012, Heather had an extensive tenure at Arrow ECS. Their roles included Director of North America Strategic Sales, where they created and led the Strategic Account Program, developing strategies to increase account penetration and customer satisfaction. Heather also served as Director of the Storage Business Unit and started their career at Arrow ECS as a Channel Sales Executive.

Heather's career began in 1995 at Andataco as a Sales Executive.

Throughout their career, Heather has received recognition for their achievements, including being named one of CRN's "Women of the Channel" multiple times and appearing on their "Power 40" list.

Heather Somerville Gonzalez holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication and Public Relations from California State University, Chico. In addition to their degree, they have obtained EMC Sales Certifications in 2016 and EMC Foundations 2015 Certification. The institution from which they obtained these certifications is not specified.
