Andy Guschwan

Andy Guschwan has over 30 years of work experience in various software engineering and development roles. Andy currently serves as the Lead Developer at Morreale Real Estate Services, Inc. In their previous role as a Software Engineer at Northern Trust Corporation, they worked with middleware software such as Tibco Data Virtualization and IBM Information Server (DataStage) to maintain the environment and provide support. Andy also has experience as a Web Developer Consultant, where they worked with technologies such as Python/Django, C#.NET, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, Ajax, and MySql. Andy has also worked as a Video Director at Gooseswan Productions. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at Tribune Company, Chicago, where they converted web systems and wrote Java servlets. Andy also served as a Systems Analyst at Sanwa Business Credit, Chicago, where they wrote Cobol code and optimized SQL queries. Prior to that, they worked at the Chicago Board of Trade as a Programmer Analyst III, writing Cobol code and maintaining payroll systems. Andy began their career as an Associate Cobol Programmer at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Andy Guschwan has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Knox College. They also hold several certificates in various fields of study, including Web Development with Python from DePaul University, Interdisciplinary Film Studies from Northwestern University, and Web Developer Program and Computer Career Program from DePaul University. Additionally, they have a certificate in HTML5, Python/Django, and .NET MVC Core from Coding Dojo.
