Douglas Boddy

Douglas Boddy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Douglas started their career in 1996 at Eaton Corporation as an Engineering Manager, where they managed a team of four engineers and led the product team for automotive transmission control valves. During this time, they also designed solenoid valves for various applications.

In 2006, Douglas joined FEV Inc. as a Senior Technical Specialist. In this role, they led hydraulic valve and system projects for clients interested in hydraulic hybrid vehicle technology. Douglas coordinated a team of engineers and designers, developed design specifications, and validated designs through analytical and computational tools and prototype testing.

Continuing their career at FEV, Douglas transitioned to the role of Project Manager in 2013. Douglas managed multiple small and large projects, ranging from fluid conditioners to complete engine dynamometer test cells. Their responsibilities included customer contact, engineering of fluid systems, schedule planning, contract negotiation, and supplier and contractor management.
