Tracy Hanson

Tracy (Beerley) Hanson is an experienced naturalist and environmental horticulturist currently managing Tracy Hanson Garden Design and Botanical Consulting and serving as a Natural Lands Horticulturist at Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania. With a career spanning over a decade, Tracy has led various ecological projects including invasive plant control and habitat restoration while overseeing interns and volunteers. Previous roles include a Restoration/Stewardship Technician at The Nature Conservancy and an Assistant Gardener at Morris Arboretum, where hands-on training in garden development occurred. Tracy holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on Resource Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, as well as Environmental Science and Ecology from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania.
