Communications Training Officer/ Supervising Public Safety Telecommunicator at Morris County Government

Garrett Janes has over a decade of experience in public safety communications, currently serving as a Communications Training Officer and Supervising Public Safety Telecommunicator for Morris County Government since December 2011. In this role, Garrett supervises a team dedicated to responding to emergency requests and dispatching appropriate units. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Fire/Police/Emergency Medical Dispatch Telecommunicator and Police Dispatcher at Florham Park Police Department, and a Public Safety Officer at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Garrett holds a Master’s degree in Homeland Security from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University, and an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice from County College of Morris.
