Cristian Bastias

Cristian Bastias is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in data and cloud solutions. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Morris & Opazo AWS Partner Data & Analytics since January 2017, Cristian drives technology strategy and oversees product development to meet client needs. Previously, as a Cloud Project Manager, Cristian led the implementation of a real-time recommendation engine for a Peruvian bank and managed an agile team for cloud migration projects. Cristian's background includes a role as a Big Data Developer, focusing on data processes transition to AWS for RIMAC Seguros, and experience with IoT devices and visualization tools. Earlier positions included Project Development Manager at Kofax and project management roles at SOFTPRO, specializing in biometric solutions, alongside a tenure as a Senior Software Developer at Experian. Cristian holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
