Carla Adams, MBA, has extensive experience in client accounts and financial management in the legal industry. Carla began their career at DLA Piper in 2006, where they served as a Collections Manager and Team Lead for seven years. In 2013, they took on the role of Senior Manager of Global Client Financial Management, where they established and led a new business unit to support attorneys and clients with global work. During their time in this role, they successfully facilitated the growth of international fees billed to US global clients by 58% in three years, while also reducing the time it took to bill global clients. In 2017, Carla joined Morrison & Foerster LLP as the Director of Client Accounts.

Carla Adams, MBA, holds a Master of Accountancy degree from Golden Gate University, obtained from 2010 to 2012. Carla also completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University San Marcos from 2003 to 2005. Carla's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, General from California State University San Marcos, earned between 2000 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Wharton Executive Presence and Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development from Wharton Executive Education and in Legal Project Management from LawVision LLC in 2022.
