Sarah Bloch

Sarah Bloch is a qualified patent agent and scientific analyst at Morrison & Foerster LLP since September 2020. Previously, Sarah held the position of Associate Director of Research Strategy and was a scientist leading the Strain Optimization Team at Pivot Bio from November 2014 to September 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate research assistant in the Schmidt-Dannert Laboratory and working as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota, where Sarah completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics from 2008 to 2014. Additionally, Sarah gained experience as a technical development intern at Lifecore Biomedical in the summer of 2013. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Truman State University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
