Meghan McDermott

Meghan McDermott is currently a Patent Attorney Trainee at GSK since September 2022. Previously, Meghan held various roles at Amgen from November 2019 to August 2022, including Quality Assurance Validation, Rotational Leadership Development Associate, Manufacturing Validation Rotational Associate, and Process Development Associate. An internship at Amgen in 2019 involved developing a GMP-validated calculation tool in Python, which projected savings of over 660 non-value-added hours. Meghan's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University. Additional experiences include research assistance, customer service, and support roles in diverse settings.
