John Jenkins

John Jenkins has over 30 years of work experience in the IT and IM field. John started their career as an Informatics Consultant at Industry, Science & Technology Canada, where they managed IT infrastructure and developed software applications. John then worked as an IT/IS Lead at Kiewit, managing information systems for a major project. John later joined Electronic Data Systems as a Manager, overseeing outsourced infrastructure projects. Most recently, John served as the Vice President of IT & IM at Morrison Hershfield. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in project management and technical support.

John Jenkins obtained a Master of Information Management degree from Dalhousie University between 2013 and 2020. Prior to that, in 1984, they earned a diploma in Computer Programming & Systems Analysis from the Toronto School of Business, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their formal education, John holds several certifications including Certified Information Professional from AIIM International, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) from the SANS Institute, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) from Microsoft, and Oracle DBA from Oracle.
