Alma Mathew

Alma Mathew has a work experience that spans several years in the field of battery research. Alma began their career as a Project Assistant at the Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) in 2018. In this role, they gained valuable experience for a few months before moving on to pursue further studies. Alma then joined Uppsala University in 2019 as a Doctoral Student, where they focused on understanding degradation phenomena in cathodes for lithium-ion batteries. Alma is currently working as a Research Scientist at Morrow Batteries, starting in 2023. Overall, Alma has developed a strong background in battery research and has made substantial contributions to the field through their academic and professional pursuits.

Alma Mathew completed a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune, from 2013 to 2018. Alma then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Inorganic Chemistry at Uppsala University, starting in 2019 and expected to complete their degree in 2023.
