Steve O'Connor

Steve O'Connor is the Senior Vice President of Affordable Housing Initiatives at Mortgage Bankers Association, where Steve manages strategic efforts focused on building policy and business partnerships in support of affordable housing. With prior experience as a Senior Vice President of Public Policy & Industry Relations, Steve has a strong background in public policy, legislative advocacy, and industry relations. Steve also served as the Director of Mortgage Finance at the National Association of Realtors and has previous experience at Freddie Mac and Skyline Financial Services Corporation. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Marquette University and a Master's Degree in Political Science from American University.
