Rich Harris

Rich is a data driven company leader and as CEO has built multiple successful high growth technology businesses in SaaS, communications, data and analytics. Rich is currently CEO of Sales Boomerang / Mortgage Coach, and is also an active technology investor and Board member. Outside of work Rich is a Dad to three amazing children and is a competitive cyclist.

Prior to Sales Boomerang / Mortgage Coach, Rich led SparkPost through its transformation into the industry’s most trusted email sending and deliverability platform as well as strong growth and profitability resulting in consistent Rule of 40+ performance. MessageBird acquired the Company in 2021 for $600mm.

Before SparkPost, Rich was Group Vice President of the Oracle Data Cloud (ODC). Rich was responsible for all international operations at ODC, and turned it into one of the fastest growing divisions at Oracle. Rich joined Oracle through the acquisition of AddThis. Rich was CEO of AddThis and led the Company through rapid growth and its highly profitable exit.

Preceding AddThis, Rich was an investor and operator in several prosperous technology businesses. Rich founded Mt. Weather Capital and RedShift Ventures. He was responsible for multiple exits, including Cronos Integrated Microsystems (acquired by JDS Uniphase for $750mm).

An active member of the mid-Atlantic entrepreneurial community, Rich was a board member of the University of Maryland's Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship, the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA), and a founder and Chairman of the Young Atlantic Venture Association. Rich was a Clinical Professor for the R.H. Smith School of Business. He received an M.B.A and J.D. from the University of Maryland, and a B.A. in Economics from Denison University.
