Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith, CMB, AMP, has extensive experience in the mortgage industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Sales and Production at Mortgage Investors Group since May 2005. Prior to this role, Stephen worked as Senior Vice President at National Bank of Commerce, managing retail mortgage production and achieving $2 billion in retail production. Stephen has held various leadership positions, including Group LOB North & South Carolina at SunTrust Mortgage, Owner/Partner and Executive Vice President at Southeastern Mortgage of Tennessee, and Vice President Regional Manager at AmSouth Mortgage, overseeing multi-state operations. Stephen's career also includes significant roles at Fidelity Federal Savings and Loan and Investors Mortgage Insurance, among others. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
