Carissa Kowalski Dougherty

Carissa Kowalski Dougherty is an experienced professional in knowledge management and organizational development, currently serving as the Director of Knowledge Management at The Morton Arboretum since September 2014. In this role, Carissa leads initiatives in internal communication, organizational learning, and asset management, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration. As Chief Questionologist for Transformative Questions, Carissa specializes in consulting with non-profit leaders, particularly in the cultural sector, to enhance their organizational effectiveness. Additionally, Carissa has held various positions including Reviewer for the Institute of Museum and Library Services, owner of ckd media, and Director of Collection Information and Experience at The Art Institute of Chicago.
