Emma Carmichael-Stewart

Emma Carmichael-Stewart is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial property law. Currently serving as a Legal Director and previously as a Senior Associate at Morton Fraser MacRoberts LLP since March 2018, Emma has also completed a six-month secondment at Ashurst in 2020, focusing on a significant commercial bank project. Emma held leadership roles as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Central Scotland Branch of The Association of Women in Property from March 2016 to February 2018. Prior experience includes working as a Solicitor at Shepherd and Wedderburn LLP from 2011 to 2018, where Emma specialized in English commercial property law after completing various training seats during the trainee solicitor period. Emma earned an LLB Hons in Law from The University of Edinburgh and studied at Utrecht University.
