Sarah Lucas has a diverse range of work experience. Sarah started their career as a Junior Professional Fellow at the United Nations University, where they successfully organized knowledge-sharing and networking events. Sarah later worked as a Publications Intern at the International Crisis Group and as a Communications Assistant at the IFC - International Finance Corporation. In 2013, Sarah co-founded and served as the CEO of Action for Dolphins, an organization dedicated to protecting marine life. From 2018, Sarah joined Mosa Meat, a cultured meat start-up, serving in various roles including Head of Strategy and Head of Operations. Their work at Mosa Meat involved the development of commercial products and the launch of cultured meat into the market.
Sarah Lucas has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Melbourne, where they studied from 2003 to 2008. Sarah also holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in International Relations from the University of Cambridge.
