Joel Villa

Joel Villa has a strong background in IT management, with experience in various leadership roles. Joel is currently serving as the Senior Director of IT at Mosaic Companies, where they oversee the IT department. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of IT at Surfaces Southeast, Inc. from 2019 to 2021.

Joel's extensive career in IT management began in 1995 when they started as a Network Administrator at ASIG. Joel then moved on to Knight Ridder, where they served as a Senior Systems Administrator, managing large corporate data centers and disaster recovery sites.

In 2006, Joel became the IT Director at Latin Node Inc, where they implemented the IT department and managed over 130 servers. Joel also implemented centralized purchasing systems and hardware and software standards.

From 2008 to 2009, Joel worked as an IT Director at eLandia Group, where they served as the primary technology liaison to business units and monitored project progress and deliverables.

Joel's most notable achievement was at Cisneros Corporation, where they served as the Director of IT from 2010 to 2019. In this role, they created and implemented a global IT department, designed and implemented a new core data center, and was accountable for all aspects of IT operations and telecommunication services across multiple regions.
