Skyler Powell

Skyler Powell is a Junior Underwriter Trainee at Mosaic Insurance, where responsibilities include assessing and rating submissions while gaining insight into the company's core appetite. With prior experience as an Underwriting Intern at Mosaic, Skyler collaborated with Cyber and Political Violence underwriters to review submissions and deepened understanding of Mosaic's underwriting model. Earlier roles at Mosaic included a Marketing & Strategy Intern, where comprehensive industry research was conducted alongside the development of a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion statement and an Environmental, Social and Governance strategy. Skyler also contributed as a Local Brand Ambassador for SailGP, supporting event operations in Bermuda, and worked as a Swim Instructor, utilizing management and communication skills to enhance children's swimming abilities. Skyler holds a Bachelor's degree in Business/Corporate Communications from Rollins College and a High School Diploma from Warwick Academy Bermuda.
