Kriti Kalwad has over 13 years of work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. In 2007, they began their career as a Summer Intern at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, where they shadowed a design engineer in the jigs, tools, and fixtures department of HAL Aerospace division. In 2009, they were an Intern at iRobot, where they designed and developed manufacturing drawings of a lightweight city-safety robot adhering to US military standards. In 2010, they joined Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant Systems Engineer, where they designed, coded, and implemented the customization of an asset management tool. In 2011, they joined Sandvik as a Design Engineer, where they designed steel structures and sub-systems of CE-compliant exploration drill rigs. In 2015, they became a Mechanical Engineering Intern at MiaSolé, where they created an internal tool for mapping field conditions and conducted experiments. In 2016, they joined Applied Materials as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they analyzed structured and unstructured data and designed experiments. Finally, in 2022, they became a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Mosaic Manufacturing, where they created the product strategy and built the ecosystem for multi-material 3D printing at scale.
Kriti Kalwad obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University from 2005 to 2009. Kriti then obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University from 2014 to 2016.
