Sarah Morgan is an accomplished urban design professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Associate Director at Mosaic Urban Design Ltd since January 2025, Sarah previously held the position of Associate Director and Senior Urban Designer at Turley from March 2013 to January 2025. In earlier roles, Sarah contributed as an Urban Designer at Origin3 and as an Assistant Urban Designer at Greenbox. Sarah holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Planning and Architecture from the University of the West of England, awarded in 2010.

Based in Notting Hill, Mosaic is a Masterplanning practice focussing on strategic land in the UK. We work on a range of projects from small schemes for bespoke house builders through to a 6,000 home new mixed-use settlement for a landowner/master developer client. We also cover all of the scales in between! We believe an urban designer and masterplanner is a generalist – the conductor of a symphony, not a virtuoso who plays every instrument perfectly. As designers we help to coordinate a team of professionals that includes transport planners, landscape architects and specialists from other disciplines. Our knowledge of each discipline allows us to negotiate and synthesise competing demands while meeting the needs of the client and the integrity of the entire project. Ours is a collaborative, participatory, approach that actively works through design solutions with the client, the community and other key stakeholders through workshop events. At Mosaic we believe limitations encourage creativity. We never rue the limitations of a design problem – a too small site, an inconvenient topography… We enjoy complex sites as they require a creative design response to be successful. Our approach views constraints as opportunities to be unlocked.
