Lyndal Mackintosh

Lyndal has worked in local and state government for more than 25 years and in the community and stakeholder engagement field for 12 years.

Recently, Lyndal developed and implemented an organisational community engagement framework for the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) and has led an engagement team of advisors for the past four years.

Prior to this, she has been an adviser and facilitator with local government, including the City of Melbourne and Manningham City Council.

Lyndal has developed capability programs, as well as designing and advising on processes around highly complex and contentious topics, such as bushfire preparedness and response, biodiversity planning, forest policy and planning, local government reform and large-scale urban planning projects.

Two notable examples of successful community engagement processes that Lyndal has designed and delivered include DELWP’s Engage@DELWP framework and the City of Melbourne’s 10-Year Financial Plan.
