Isabelle Tennant has worked at a variety of companies since 2000. Isabelle started at digigroups as a Java Developer, where they worked on a business to business web application. In 2002, they worked as a Clearcase Administrator at Pacific Stock Exchange, where they designed and implemented the whole build and release process for the company's new product. Isabelle then moved to Finaplex as a Build Release Engineer. From 2000 to 2002, they worked at Epit as a Java Developer, Systems Administrator, and Build/Release Engineer. Isabelle was responsible for creating the installer for the Epit software, configuring and installing software on Solaris servers, and automating the build/testing process. In 2006, they began working at Adobe as a Software Solutions Engineer, where they were in charge of troubleshooting technical customer issues at the engineering level. Isabelle then moved to ConnectSolutions Inc. in 2011 as a Tier2 Support Engineer, where they troubleshot customer issues. In 2018, they began working at Inseego Corp as a Senior SDET/Automation Architect, where they architected an object-oriented automation framework to test the company's software. Isabelle then moved to Emberex as a Software Development Engineer in Test and a Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer and QA Engineer. Lastly, in 2020, they began working at Mosaic.tech as a Senior SDET Lead and Senior SDET/Automation Architect. In this role, they architected a new cypress automation framework, automated tests, trained new and existing hires, and defined QA processes and best practices.

Isabelle Tennant obtained a Bachelor degree in Mathematics from Université Savoie Mont Blanc between 1992 and 1996. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Linguistics/Education from Université Grenoble Alpes between 1997 and 1999.
