I am Mosquito Steve. Locally, I have become somewhat of a celebrity because of their brand-building. They are building Mosquito Steve to be the authority on mosquitoes and flies. Since 2002 Steve Moore has been developing effective mosquito products. However, now he is solely devoted to natural products. To test and compare products, Steve preformsfield trials subjecting himself to thousands of mosquito bites and, likely, the West Nile Virus. He has taken as many as 900 mosquito bites in one night! What is great is that they keep developing new products too. They have products to keep flies off horses (so effective they can actually keep them off horse poo!) They have rat and squirrel repellents! They have spider repellents! Steve Moore has been working, virtually for free, for the last 13 years to bring the most effective and affordable solutions to the industry. He has held two jobs for over a dozen years to make a living while devoting full time hours, also, toward his passion of saving people from the nuisance and health risks brought about by mosquitoes. Their business model is simple: they make the products and work with landscape and pest control companies to provide the service. They LOVE us! All they do is give them a sample and once they try it they love it! They also have retail products. I have one retailer turning an average of $600/week! They tested the waters with their model last year and did only $40,000 in business with little promotion. This season they have surpassed $190,000 and should end up over $250,000.
