Marcy has 17 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and consulting with 14 years dedicated to public accounting. Her public accounting experience has focused on auditing and consulting within the health care industry, along with employee benefit plan audits. She has assisted numerous health care organizations with operational efficiency analysis, controls analysis, cash-flow projections, budgeting projects, and other operational engagements. Marcy also participates in over 60 of the benefit plan audits performed annually in the Portland office, on which she serves as either engagement reviewer or concurring reviewer. She has experience auditing benefit plans of all types and sizes, including single-employer, multiemployer, pension, 401(k), and health and welfare plans. During her three years in private accounting, Marcy acted as the chief financial officer for a Portland-based nonprofit organization. During this time she was responsible for financial budgeting, reporting, contracting, and oversight for the accounting, centralized billing, and human resources departments, including management and oversight of the employee benefit plan.
