Michael Smith has extensive experience in both the construction and education sectors. Currently serving as an Electrical/Structural SME, Senior Estimator, and Assistant Project Manager at Moss & Associates since June 2018, Michael oversees various aspects of project management and estimation. Prior roles include serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Southern New Hampshire University, where Michael developed math modeling courses, and as a Construction Estimator at WTEC, managing construction bids and collaborating with various departments. Michael also taught mathematics at Ohio Valley University and contributed to course development while advising mathematics majors. With a strong educational background, including a Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Ohio University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Physics, respectively, Michael blends technical proficiency with academic expertise.
