Cindy Grider

Cindy Grider, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Cindy currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources at Mossberg & Company, Inc., starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor for the SHRM CP/SCP Course at Indiana University since March 2015. Cindy also served as the Director of Human Resources at Robert Weed from May 2015 to December 2021. Before that, they held various roles at Dynamic Metals, LLC, including Manager of Human Resources/ACI Champion from February 2012 to May 2015 and Quality Specialist Aerospace from August 2011 to February 2012. Cindy's earlier career includes roles at Atwood Mobile Products as a Continuous Improvement Coordinator and Process Engineer from May 1996 to July 2011, as well as a Production Associate at the Tri-Wall division of Weyerhaueser from October 1993 to February 1995.

Cindy Grider, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Management Administration from Indiana University South Bend, from 1988 to 1993. Additionally, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, and Business Management from Indiana University South Bend.

Cindy Grider has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2000, they obtained the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I from Six Sigma. In 2014, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they obtained the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM. Moreover, they obtained the OSHA 10-Hour certification from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in 2017. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC).
