Asim Ali

Asim Ali has been working in the field of RF engineering since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as an RF Engineer at Amplus Communication, where they designed C & Ku band transceivers for VSAT applications. From 2007 to 2012, they were an RF System Engineer at ST-Ericsson, where they developed RF system characterization Test Plans for wireless SoCs, including NFC and GPS, using NI LabVIEW and Teststand. Asim also modeled high speed differential channels using Agilent ADS Signal IntegrityEDA tool. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Staff RF Product Engineer at PMC-Sierra, where they were responsible for RF board design, characterization, and debugging of integrated transceiver blocks, as well as signal integrity analysis, high speed channel modeling, layout extraction, S-parameter, eye diagram, and jitter simulation and measurements. Asim also automated RF system measurements using scripting languages such as Python and Tcl. Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been a Staff RF Evaluation Engineer at Peraso Technologies, Inc.

Asim Ali completed their MSc in Communication Engg from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their B.E in Electronics from NED University of Engineering and Technology in 2002.
