Katie Cleek is an experienced Community Outreach & Events Coordinator at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, focusing on community engagement around coral reef research in the Upper Florida Keys. Additionally, Katie holds leadership roles as Vice Chair and Secretary of the Florida Keys Chapter of The Surfrider Foundation, where responsibilities include educational promotion and community outreach. Concurrently, Katie manages social media and marketing for Matecumbe Microgreens and previously for Gardenia’s Bistro. With a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Behavior from The University of Georgia, Katie's background encompasses various roles in marine conservation, customer service, and marketing, demonstrating a commitment to environmental stewardship and community involvement.
