MacKenzie McCloud M.S. Ed.

MacKenzie McCloud M.S. Ed. has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2017, MacKenzie worked at Apple as an At Home Advisor and later became a Senior Advisor, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and earning a high client satisfaction rating during their tenure. In 2019, MacKenzie joined Urban Teachers, where they served as a Participant Advisory Board Member, advocating for the needs of the Black cohort and organizing social events to foster community. MacKenzie also acted as a mentor during the Summer Institute, supporting and tracking the success of resident cohorts. In 2019, MacKenzie began working at the Dallas Independent School District as a Clinical Teacher and later became an 8th Grade Reading Teacher, focusing on curriculum development and student engagement. They also served as a Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) Representative, participating in assessment decisions for English Learners. In 2022, MacKenzie joined Huemane® as the Head of Community and Engagement, responsible for creating a strong sense of community and driving member engagement within the social club. Currently, MacKenzie is employed as a Partnerships Manager at Mote, where they develop and nurture strategic partnerships, formulate and execute strategic plans, and maximize partner relationships to contribute to Mote's mission and vision.

MacKenzie McCloud earned a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University School of Education, completing the program from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Georgia State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2018. Their education history also includes attending Hampton University from 2014 to 2016, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. In addition to their degrees, MacKenzie McCloud has obtained several certifications.
