Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center
Dr. Carla Haith currently serves as the Head of School at Mother Caroline Academy and Education Center, beginning in July 2024. With a robust background in educational leadership, Dr. Haith was previously the Head of Lower School at Dedham Country Day School from July 2015 to July 2024. Dr. Haith has been an active member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. since April 2000 and participated in the New England Administrators of Color Leadership Collaborative in 2016. Notable prior roles also include Co-Director of Interns and Service as well as Kindergarten Teacher at The Chestnut Hill School from August 2003 to June 2015, and Core Faculty at the Collegiate School Teaching Institute from June 2006 to June 2011. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Pennsylvania (2019-2022), a Master of Education in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Lesley University (2002-2003), and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Clark Atlanta University (1997-2001).
