Prashant Bhat has extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry. Prashant started their career at Sandoz India Ltd as an R&D Executive in 1995. Prashant then worked at Britannia Industries Limited, where they served as a Production Executive and played a key role in setting up a project on Creamed Wafer Biscuit. Prashant later joined HJ Heinz, where they worked in Research & Development and was involved in product development for various categories such as biscuits, Glucon-D, infant cereal products, and prickly heat powder. After that, they worked at Firmenich as a Flavour Innovations Manager, leading their Beverage Application segment in India. Prashant then joined Givaudan as a Food & Beverage Product Development Manager & Flavour Evaluator, focusing on enhancing the portfolio of key beverage companies in India. Prashant's career took another leap when they joined The Coca-Cola Company as the Head of India R&D Center and Regional Master Blender for Juice. With their responsibilities, they built the R&D Hub from scratch, developed a team, and established it as a Center Of Excellence for Mango Science & Application. Prashant later held various positions at Coca-Cola, including Associate Director & Global Category Leader Dairy R&D and Director & Global Category Leader Dairy R&D. In these roles, they led the Dairy Center of Excellence and was responsible for dairy product development, research, process, and packaging. Prashant also served as the Director Global R&D - Dairy & Plant Protein, where they led innovation and technology platforms related to gut health, plant-based nutrition, and high protein dairy beverages. Currently, Prashant is the Chief R&D Officer at Mother Dairy Fruit & Vegetable Pvt. Ltd., overseeing their research and development initiatives.
From 1991 to 1994, Prashant Bhat studied BSc Tech Food Technology at UDCT (ICT-Institute of Chemical Technology) in Mumbai, specializing in Food Science and Technology.
